This rustproof aluminum extension latches onto the existing rear ladder on your RV or camper and bridges the gap between the ground and that first step. Because the bottom step is much more accessible, you'll be able to climb up your ladder more easily and without putting any additional strain on your joints.
Easy to Set Up and Use
Whenever you need to do maintenance on your RV roof, latch the built-in hooks onto your existing ladder above the bottom step. If your RV ladder is a little wider than this ladder extension, you can twist the hooks outward to ensure it fits properly.
Secure to Step On
The stepping areas are grooved to give your feet some traction while you're climbing the ladder, even in the rain. This prevents you from having to step onto a surface that can get slippery such as your RV's bumper or the smooth, bottom bar of your factory ladder.

I needed an extenton for our RV ladder and could not find one that was the right lenght. However this extention is stong and will work with a little adjustment.I love the hooks on the top you can put them to the inside or out side of the ladder. This ladder was a foot short of reaching the ground, our trailer was 58" from the last step to the ground and the ladder was 48". I also bought the replacement pegs for the short ladder (30 1/2") and plan on drilling a hole to mount to this ladder to line up with the bumper for more support. When it is finsihed I will share a picture.

Very helpful to access the roof of our RV. The ladder that is part of the unit is not long enough.

Works nicely as the ladder closely resembles the steps on my coach ladder. But I was surprised the extension is so flimsy. I was expecting something much more sturdy feeling. Will do the job.
